I call my best referral partners my "Champions" -- they're really out there in the world and looking for opportunities to help me, because they love what I do. You could also be a champion in my cause.

Here is information and ideas on how to really maximize your time and efforts if you'd like to make money together:

Understand Who I help

If you know who I'm looking for, and who is attracted to what I'm offering, you're more likely to be successful at referring the right people to me.

Most of my best clients are:

• Women age 40+
• Very busy with one or more of the following:
  • running their own business
  • taking care of children
  • taking care of parents or adult relatives
  • volunteering for one or more organization/passionate about and involved in community service
  • on the board at a local non-profit
  • working at a local non-profit
• becoming overwhelmed, exhausted, losing hope

A decent secondary client might be:

• A male who very closely fits that description or whines "Hey, what about ME?"
• Very involved with home, family or community service -- or really really wants to be

Long-Term Investment - will pay off later:

• holistic practitioners (and people interested in becoming holistic practitioners)

Note that my marketing talks about women. That doesn't mean men aren't welcome, but it helps weed out the men who aren't really interested in doing the work.

Do you have a blog, magazine, talk radio program, or anything else where we can collaborate on content? For example, I can write a guest blog post, and the promo link back to my website can trigger your affiliate link. How this works

So, let's give this an example:

I highly recommend you try something out because then when you're talking about it to anyone else, you really know what you're talking about. So you come to a free teleseminar that I give. You decide you really DO like it, and you can think of 10 active women in your community who could really use it.

You write up a recommendation and add your special link to the email. (Remember to copy & paste the recommendation into my webform so I can have it as a testimonial! :) ) You send it to the 10 people you thought of. Of the 10, 5 ladies decide to sign up and attend one of my free workshops, since you gave it such a glowing recommendation.

2 of the ladies who attended the seminar decide to try a longer workshop I'm giving. It's discounted to $45 each while they're on the free call, so you get a PayPal payment for $13.50 the next month (2 tickets at $45 = $90 sales. 15% of $90 is $13.50).

However, all 5 of the ladies who attended the call are now on my mailing list. If they take advantage of other offers, you keep getting commissions (they have to purchase something within 6 months of following your link).

So if one woman decides to take advantage of my life assessment offer that she sees in one of my emails (I call it Excavation and we'll say it's discounted to $100 for the special offer). First you get an email saying you made a successful referral and next month you get another $15.00! And it could be several months later.

However, if someone calls me on the phone to order something, I won't know that you referred them through my affiliate program. I'll be pushing website payments for most sales because I really want to reward you for helping me find clients and spreading my message.
